As agriculture faces mounting challenges from supply chain disruptions and the push for digital transformation, influential farmers from the Global Farmer Network are stepping forward to share their experiences and solutions at a major international summit.

From September 1–3, 2025, Agrievolution and the Cámara Argentina Fabricantes de Maquinaria Agrícola (CAMFA) will host Achieving Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture Through Mechanization and Precision Technologies, a two-day event focused on the future of farming. GFN members sharing their experiences:

  • Pedro Vigneau, a farmer from Argentina, will offer a firsthand look at how mechanization and precision agriculture are transforming productivity and sustainability in South America. His insights will reflect Argentina’s leadership in conservation agriculture and innovation.
  • Jorge Lopez Menedez, an Argentinian farming in Africa, will speak to the urgent need for mechanization across the continent. He will highlight both the challenges and the immense opportunities for technology to improve yields, reduce labor burdens, and support food security in African nations.
  • Nicolás Bronzovich, President of Argentina’s National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA) and a farmer himself, will provide a dual perspective—bridging policy, research, and practical application. His leadership at INTA positions him to discuss how national strategies can support farmers in adopting sustainable technologies.

Farmers will be joined by global experts, manufacturers, and agricultural organizations for a dynamic program that includes panel discussions, networking sessions, and a live field demonstration of precision technologies in action.

Additional participants include representatives from Agrievolution, the Argentina No Till Farmers Association, the Argentine-German Dialogue for Sustainable Agricultural Innovations, the Argentine Maize and Sorghum Association, the Agricultural Engineers Association (UK), YANMAR, Lindsay Corporation, and farmers from Germany and Argentina.
