Video: What does it mean to be a farmer?

It's important for farmers to talk about what they do. That's what our Global Farmer Network members do, everywhere in the world.
In late July, the GFN board of directors met in Minneapolis, Minnesota for its annual summer board meeting. The group took a couple of hours to visit the nearby headquarters of Cargill and have a good back and forth discussion of what folks in their business, and what farmers, both see as issues and opportunities for modern agriculture now and on the horizon. Board members Terry Wanzek from North Dakota, Cherilyn Nagel from Saskatchewan, Canada, and Craige Mackenzie from New Zealand also took a few minutes each to sit down and answer a few questions for a this short video (1 min 42 sec).
